LeakDAS® is used to manage fugitive emissions compliance programs required in the United States by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as well as environmental agencies in other countries.

The Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) compliance method is a complex mixture of scheduling the minimum number of inspections to ensure compliance, producing & tracking work orders when leaking components are discovered, and environmental reporting.

The Windows version of ORR LeakDAS software was first introduced in 1994.

LeakDAS also has a companion software product called LeakDAS Mobile Edition that runs on a handheld data logger designed for use in hazardous areas. The application dictates data to be collected in the plant for uploading to a computer for processing.

Many people using other products have been frustrated with software that is difficult to operate, poorly supported, and expensive to upgrade. People who have switched to LeakDAS report that it is easy to implement and use. Existing data can be reused so that retrofit customers don't miss a single inspection or repair.

Technical support for LeakDAS is recognized by the LDAR industry as outstanding.

LeakDAS can be used to help comply with complex US EPA regulations such as Refinery MACT, HON, NSPS, Consent Decrees, state regulations, international requirements, or the customer's own custom rules.

LeakDAS delivers cost savings through automation by processing inspection data to determine the least amount of field labor necessary to comply with each regulation or requirement.

Reports are pre-configured and ready to process data for quarterly, semi-annual, or annual submittal. Data can be packaged into ad hoc user defined reports or exported to other software applications.

InspectionLogic offers professional web-based and on-site training for LeakDAS users.

What has made LeakDAS a success is a combination of how well the software addresses the very specific needs of the fugitive emissions LDAR application, and how well the InspectionLogic's application experts support the product and customers.

LeakDAS v5

LeakDAS® v5 offers a path to standardize your Fugitive Emissions Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) program operations. LeakDAS® v5 is more than a database to store LDAR data. It serves as the LDAR Program Administrator's dashboard for managing fugitive emission compliance operations on a daily, monthly, quarterly, annual basis. In addition to providing information that helps to optimize LDAR operations, LeakDAS manages information and record keeping in a way that is consistent, repeatable, and focused on regulatory compliance. It provides the tools to make your LDAR program defendable when audited.

Also available are data collection software products that offer ease of use and accountability. Check out LeakDAS® Mobile Edition for tagging, tag maintenance, auditing, visual inspections and Method 21. LeakDAS® Mobile Edition transmits data between the field and your LDAR database wirelessly.

LeakDAS Mobile 8

What is LeakDAS® Mobile?

Since 2005, LeakDAS® Mobile Edition (LDM) software for handheld computers has been the industry standard for LDAR field monitoring, repairing and tagging. LDM is an integral part of your Fugitive Emissions compliance program. It is an extension of your LeakDAS® v4 LDAR Data Management System. LDM takes your compliance records out into the field where monitoring technicians will be guided through the processes of Method 21 monitoring, repair information collection, and component tagging or editing. LeakDAS® bundled with LeakDAS® Mobile forms a complete end-to-end data collection and management system that is designed from the ground up to work in harmony. Your compliance data is critical to your success. That’s why LDAR professionals trust LeakDAS® Mobile.

Cut the Cord! Web based Sync Service

No cables or wires are required to sync LeakDAS Mobile 8. A restful web service handles data synchronization between the field and the back office, allowing syncs to occur anywhere that you can connect to the Internet or your internal network. If you still have a need or requirement to sync via Ethernet cable or a docking station, that can be done as well.

New Tagging and Tag Maintenance Modes

A special mode of operation can be enable for tagging, tag maintenance and true-up projects that greatly simplifies the process of making sure that every single tag is accounted for.

For Android and Windows Tablets

LeakDAS® Mobile Edition has been completely redesigned and is changing the way LDAR data collection is performed in the field. By leveraging the intuitive user interface and large screen size of tablets running the latest Android and Microsoft Windows operating systems, LDM8 streamlines work processes to give you fewer data collection errors, it serves up better on-screen information for making decisions, and ensures truer compliance with Method 21. Not only that, it’s FASTER than anything you’ve ever used for LDAR field work.

Smarter Operating Systems = Smarter LDAR

For over a decade, we’ve all had to rely on handheld data collection devices that are slaves to the Microsoft Windows Mobile operating system. Give yourself a reality check. The newest version of that operating system dates back to 2009 and Microsoft has stopped updating it. Many LDAR field technicians are still using equipment running a 10 year old version of Windows Mobile. Would you rely on a cell phone that’s 5 or 10 years old? Do you want to trust a 5 or 10 year old platform with your compliance data? Until now, you’ve had no choice. LDM8 is a game changer. It gives you all the justification you need to get off of Windows Mobile, catch up with today’s technology, and position your LDAR program for the future. A future that costs less.

With InspectionLogic you get Software you need, from people you trust.

LeakDAS SmartScore™

SmartScore™ provides information for decision-making that was previously unavailable to fugitive emissions LDAR program managers. Using SmartScore™, managers can observe past performance and predict future likelihood that a component will leak. And they can do it at a glance. Only LeakDAS offers this capability.

SmartScore™ is a simple numerical ranking assigned to each component in the LeakDAS database, a concept analogous to the credit score that credit-reporting agencies assign to people. With SmartScore™, a higher number indicates a greater likelihood that the component will leak in the future.
